The volume contains meditations on the life of the human being, estranged from God because of sin, who can return to Him through the silence, conversion, humility, work, peace.
Each individual has the means to go back to the Father, with the help of the Son and of the light of the Spirit.
From this book it is possible to infer that Don Barsotti has assimilated and adapted in an original way the lesson of the patristic tradition (both Eastern and Western), but also of the great masters of the past, such as the mystical Silesius and Tauler.
