Raymond Bloch (1914 - 1997) è stato uno storico delle religioni, latinista e studioso di etruscologia, professore presso l'Ecole française di Roma, membro dell'Académie des inscriptions et belles-lettres e direttore dell'Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes. Ha diretto gli scavi a Bolsena e a Casalecchio di Reno. Tra le sue pubblicazioni si ricordano "Recherches en territoire volsinien", "Les prodiges dans l'Antiquité classique", "Les Etrusques", "L'art et la civilisation étrusques", "Les origines de Rome".

Raymond Bloch (1914 - 1997) was a historian of religions, a scholar of Latin and Etruscan studies, Professor at the Ecole Française in Rome, a member of the Académie des inscriptions et belles-lettres, and director of the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes in Paris. He directed excavations at Bolsena and Casalecchio of Reno. Among his publications, "Recherches en territoire volsinien", "Les prodiges dans l'Antiquité classique", "Les Etrusques", "L'art et la civilisation étrusques", "Les origines de Rome".
