Raffaello Morghen (Roma 1896 - 1983) è stato uno storico, professore di Storia medievale all'Università di Roma e socio dell'Accademia dei Lincei. È stato presidente dell'Istituto Storico Italiano per il Medioevo e preside della Scuola per archivisti e bibliotecari. Ha collaborato inoltre come redattore all'Enciclopedia italiana. Tra i suoi numerosi articoli e saggi si ricordano Medioevo cristiano (1951), Civiltà medioevale al tramonto (1973), Dante profeta: tra la storia e l'eterno (1983).

Raffaello Morghen (Rome 1896 - 1983) was a historian, Professor of Medieval History at University of Rome, and a member of the Lincei Academy. He was president of the Italian Historical Institute for the Middle Ages and headmaster of the School for Archivists and librarians. He collaborated to the Italian Encyclopedia. Among his numerous articles and essays: Medioevo cristiano (1951), Civiltà medioevale al tramonto (1973), Dante profeta: tra la storia e l'eterno (1983).
